Rutherford County is the next county east of Polk, and NC-108 ties the two together. It leaves Tryon, passes Columbus and Mill Spring, crosses the Green and Broad rivers and ends on Main Street in Rutherfordton. The county sits on the line between the Piedmont and the mountains. Who should I ask before taking out a stump on a Lake Lure lot?
Start with the Town of Lake Lure, which is an incorporated town with its own rules, and with your owners' association if there is one. Outside town limits, ask Rutherford County planning. That answer has to come from them. Once you have it, two photos are enough for Jordan to quote the stump.
